Driver Licence
The renter and each additional driver must produce a full valid driving licence, which they have held for at least two years at the time of the rental. Local and International Driving Licence are accepted.

Age Requirement
Minimum Age - 21 Yrs
Maximum Age - 75 Yrs

Drivers
Only the renter or other persons approved by Mayjo are permitted to drive the car.

Additional Driver
Second driver may be inserted in rental agreement policy of Insurance at an extra charge

Insurance Excess
The excess for drivers between 21 and 25 yrs of age is of Lm 250.00 for all categories. Excess for drivers of over 25 yrs of age, excess is of Lm 100.00 or Lm 200.00 (depends upon the car group).

Collision Damage Waiver
Collision Damage Waiver ( CDW ) can be waived off by paying an extra daily charge of Lm 2.50 or Lm 3.00 ( depends upon the car group ). However for drivers between the age of 21 and 25 yrs, CDW is of Lm 3.00 extra daily, irrespective of the car group category. Lm 50.00 excess cannot be wavered for drivers under the age of 25 yrs.

Fuel Policy
Fuel which is filled in the hired car must always be paid by the renter locally

Baby Seats / Child Seats
Baby Seats / Child Seats are available at an extra charge

Delivery and Collection
Car Deliveries and Collections are free of charge anywhere on the island of Gozo. Delivery and Collection to / from Malta is available at an extra charge.

Traffic Contraventions
All contraventions (Traffic Fines, Speeding Fines, Clamping Fines etc ) incurred during the rental period will be the renter's responsibility and payable before returning hired vehicle.

Breakdown Service
In the event of a breakdown and / or collision, Mayjo offers a 24Hr Breakdown / Emergency Service.

Collisions / Accidents
All incidents must be reported without delay to Mayjo on Tel. No: 21 551772 / 21 556678. Cars are not to be removed from place of accident.

Tyres
Damaged Tyres, Rims and Hubcaps are NOT insured. It is always the Hirer's responsibility to pay for any damages.

Personal Belongings
Please always ensure that no valuables are left in the car. Also please ensure that the luggage boot is always locked.

Vehicle Availability
Every effort will be made to supply the model originally requested, however in the unlikely event of a specific model being unavailable, an alternative will be provided.

Credit Card Policy
A valid Credit Card is to be presented ALWAYS
on signing of the contract, irrespective if payment is to be made in cash. All major cards are accepted.

Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 Hrs notice is required for all cancellations. Cancellations made inside this period will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the rental charge. Last minute cancellations will be charged in full.

Mayjo Car Rental, is obligated to comply with current applicable data protection legislation and regulations and must ensure that it meets all requirements hereunder and accordance with appropriate procedures.

Security
Your credit card information is not stored on this server and all data transactions are encrypted.
