Travelling via the Gozo high-speed ferry from Valletta also takes approximately 2 hours overall, as departures are less frequent.
No—Gozo Channel crossings aren’t booked for a specific sailing; you simply arrive and board the next available ferry. For door-to-door transfers, we plan pick-up timing based on your flight and expected ferry queues.
Crossings typically run about every 45 minutes, and can be more frequent during peak periods. Night services usually run slightly less often.
If you choose the Direct door-to-door transfer, your luggage can stay inside the vehicle during the crossing. With split or terminal-only options, you’ll carry your luggage as a foot passenger.
Prices depend on the transfer type, time of day and party size. As a guide: door-to-door transfers start from €85, split transfers from €70, and airport-to-ferry-terminal transfers from €40.
For the easiest arrival after a flight, most guests choose a private transfer (especially door-to-door). If you’re hiring a car, you can either collect it in Gozo (e.g., at Mġarr harbour) or have it delivered to your Gozo accommodation, depending on your booking.
The quoted transfer rate includes the ferry ticket for the driver and vehicle. Passenger ferry tickets are extra and are normally paid on the Gozo → Malta (return) journey.
